We are delighted to share with you a recent refinance based in Melton Mowbray. We were introduced to Liz Coull, proprietor of Little Rascals after the client was faced with a tricky lending conundrum. Liz initially purchased the building in which the business is occupied as the family home and then subsequently converted the building to use as a children’s nursery.

The business has continued to grow and having gained OFSTED status as outstanding and with ambitions to grow the business even further the client wished to borrow funds to move forward with future plans.

Liz commented: “Having purchased the building as a house we knew we now had to look into a commercial mortgage facility which not only would be more tax efficient for us but also allow us to grow the business. We were put in touch with Darren via our mortgage broker, then met with Darren who explored the options and came up with a great refinance package which allowed us to continue to grow the business and hopefully open further units“.
