Christmas greetings to you all on what you will all agree has been a difficult year for all businesses and I am sure we are all hoping for a upturn in fortunes in 2011!

That said, we are continuing to lend to numerous businesses and some of these we have shared with you throughout the year in this newsletter and hope to continue to do so going forward. Whilst banks have very much “tightened their belts” it is clear banks are being much more selective with who they will lend to and also who they accept introductions from. Here at 2XL Commercial we have enjoyed continuing relationships with all our funders and it is clear that the way a deal is “shaped” has a considerable impact on whether the bank looks to support.

In addition, the opening of our offices in the East Midlands has begun very well, with over £9 million of funding passing our desks in under 2 months and this will surely continue to grow as our network of professional introducers, upon whom our success is built, continues to grow and these key relationships are forged. Thanks to everyone that has helped – your support hasn’t gone unnoticed!

On a lighter note, 2XL Commercial has continued to embrace contact with all our clients and introducers and whilst we are embracing technology… (finally, some might say) you can now keep abreast with what we are doing on Twitter – and also upon Free Index which has seen us be placed as the Number 1 Commercial Mortgage Provider in the UK. So click on the links and feel free to follow us or review what we are doing and what our clients think of us.

On a more serious note and in keeping with the last 3 years, as opposed to sending Christmas cards, we feel it is only right to continue our support for various charities which have included Marie Curie and also the NSPCC. This year, having lost family and friends as well as Tim successfully beating the illness we are looking to make a donation to Cancer Research, something I am sure you will appreciate more than a card and would agree wholeheartedly it is a charity worthy of support.

I leave you with our latest good news story and wish you a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

Happy Hunting.
